Best Black Friday Turbo Trainer Deals in 2022

LifeLine TT-02 Fluid Trainer (RRP £149.99)

This turbo trainer aims to create a realistic power curve, using a fluid resistance unit to simulate the feeling of outdoor conditions while remaining quiet. Instead of having levels of resistance, it adjusts itself to your specific power output.

It also features a QR system to secure the bike in place, with a sturdy platform built from steel. It’s suitable for all common bike types and great for indoor training, able to be folded for storage and transportation. You can save an excellent 50% this Black Friday.

Velo Pro Turbo Trainer (RRP £99.99)

Make a handy Black Friday saving on this Velo Pro Turbo Trainer thanks to the current sales at Amazon.

This trainer is compatible with 700c or 650B wheels and is said to be able to support up to 120kg of weight as a result of the alloy roller and power-coated carbon steel which provide a safe and sturdy frame for your ride.

Using a magnetic mechanism to simulate different degrees of resistance for your training, the brand says the magnetic roller should also produce a snug and silent spin.

Wahoo Kickr V5 Smart Turbo Trainer (RRP £999.99)

If the Wahoo Kickr V5 Smart Turbo Trainer has been sitting on your wish list for a while, now is the time to pounce with a saving of 30% as part of the Black Friday sales at Sigma Sports. That’s an impressive £300 saving!

Producing an impressive 2,200 watts to really test you in your training, it still remains a subtle bit of kit, promising virtual silence as you simulate ascents of up to 20% and descents as far down as -10%.

It also features a weighty flywheel which has been designed for improved responsiveness on your virtual ride, to make the experience feel as authentic as possible so you can really feel like you’re on the road.

Tacx Neo 2 Special Edition Smart Trainer (RRP £1,199.99)

The Tacx Neo 2 commands a staggering price tag. At £1,199.99 it’s similar to the amount of money many of us would spend on a bike. But right now it’s available for half price – yep, 50% off! That’s an incredible price for a very good, top-of-the-range turbo trainer.

In our review we praised it for being a truly deluxe turbo trainer with all the bells and whistles you could need.

Wahoo Kickr Core Smart Turbo Trainer (RRP £699.99)

The Kickr Core Smart aims to be a more affordable direct drive turbo trainer and you can now save even more money with the additional discount thanks to Sigma Sports and their Black Friday sale.

Boasting an accurate and reliable training experience, you’ll be able to test yourself against simulated 16% inclines with a maximum power output of 1,800 watts. The flywheel weighs just 5.4kg but promises to be sturdy and reliable, so you can focus on your performance.

In our Wahoo Kickr Core review, we praised this trainer for its accuracy, painless Bluetooth connectivity and it’s quiet nature.

Elite Direto Smart Turbo Trainer (RRP £769.99)

If you’re prepared for an intense workout this smart trainer may be the one for you, simulating hills up to a 14% incline and delivering maximum output speeds of up to 40km per hour.

The Bluetooth connectivity also has lots of handy features if you love your stats (don’t we all!). You can measure your performance with a workout report and use virtual riding apps like Zwift and Kinomap for a realistic riding experience.

For a closer look at this trainer’s more advanced sibling, the Direto XR-T Smart Turbo model, take a look at our review.

Saris Fluid2 Turbo Trainer (RRP £259)

If you’re looking for your first entry into indoor training, this is a very good option. We’ve been impressed with the Saris turbo trainers we’ve tested in the past and this looks like a very good deal, with an impressive £170 off the standard price.

A smart option is available for £199 and is bundled with a speed and cadence sensor, but if you’re not bothered about using training apps like Zwift (or if you have a power meter/cadence sensor on your bike already), this non-smart option makes a lot of sense.

Saris says it delivers a quiet performance and road-like resistance from its ‘precision-balanced’ flywheel. It’s compatible with 120mm, 130mm and 135mm rear dropout spacing and 650b and 700c wheels, plus several other sizes, so it should fit most bike frames.

LifeLine Xplova NOZA S Smart Trainer (RRP £699.99)

With a whopping 49% off the normal asking price, now may be the time to treat yourself to this turbo trainer from LifeLine.

It has a potential power output of 2,500 watts and is said to allow you to simulate an 18% incline if your legs feel up to the challenge, with a special pulley device that keeps the sound contained and stops it rising above a claimed 58 decibels.

Compatible with a variety of workout apps, you can pair this trainer with Zwift or TrainerRoad and enjoy an exhausting virtual ride.

Halfords Turbo Trainer (RRP £69.00)

This budget trainer is even cheaper than usual, saving you £20 thanks to the retailer’s Black Friday bonanza.

Fitted with everything you need for an indoor cycle, it has six resistance levels with a remote adjustment, with a maximum power of 465 watts. Ideal for 700c wheel sizes, unfixing your bike shouldn’t be a problem once you’re done, thanks to the quick release system.

Tacx Flux S Smart Turbo Trainer T29ooS (RRP £599)

Claiming to be one of the world’s quietest turbo trainers, the Tacx Flux S will allow you to climb inclines up to 10% while keeping the peace in your home. Once paired with a number of available apps you can also keep track of your performance, which highlights the speed, cadence and power reached on your latest ride.

Compatible with both road and time trial bikes, which can be swapped in and out thanks to a simple direct-drive design, you can cater your training specifically to any events you have coming up, or simply work on your top-end speed without having to head outdoors.

Promising to keep things quiet without compromising on the riding experience, it can reach up to 1,800 watts, collecting your stats and delivering them via Bluetooth so you can make a note of your speed, power and cadence.

In our recent review we gave it a score of 90% and praised it for being a super sturdy and accurate trainer available at a good price.

Yaheetech Turbo Trainer (RRP £79.99)

You can save 18% on this turbo trainer from Yaheetech which is down from £79.99 to £65.99 in the Black Friday sale. It’s built with a corrosion-resistant alloy roller and carbon steel powder coating, and is said to have no problem supporting up to 120kg.

There are six settings in this system, controlled by a magnet, so you can find a resistance level that works best for you during your indoor workout. The brand says this bike trainer will work well with 700c wheels, with a quick release mechanism installed for ultimate convenience.

A noise reduction wheel is also present to help you ride to your heart’s content without disturbing the people in the next room.
