Kefir overnight oats
A quick and simple gut-friendly breakfast option that you can prep the night before

Ingredients
- 80g jumbo oats
- 200ml kefir natural, unsweetened
- 200ml apple juice
- 2 tsps chia seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp toasted hazelnuts halved
- 2 tsps toasted pumpkin seeds
- 2 tsps sunflower seeds
- handful of berries (try pomegranate seeds, raspberries, blackberries)
- honey to serve optional
Methods
Step 1
In a medium bowl combine the oats with the kefir, apple juice and cinnamon. Cover and leave in the fridge to soak overnight, or for at least 2hrs.
Step 2
Before you eat, all you need to do is give the oats a stir, add the rest of the ingredients, drizzle with honey if you like and enjoy!
Make it dairy-free - Follow the recipe using a plant-based kefir. Try the ones made with oat, almond or coconut milk.
