Strength training: hamstring curls

Our 12 Days of Christmas special continues


We continue our 12 Days of Christmas indoor training special with a strength training session for hamstrings.


Major muscles used



Strengthens your hamstrings and helps balance out quads and hamstrings.

What to do

Use a manageable weight. Push the hand lever down to lower the leg pads. Place your legs in between pads. Release the hand lever gradually, and focus on pulling the weight with your hamstrings.

Then take your legs back to their original position and repeat until you’ve completed your 3 x 8 reps.
