Keen as mustard for the new race season, and want to test your legs? Inspired by our recent feature on conquering the world of run/bike/run? Check out this preview video for new UK duathlon Storm The Castle, being held in Ludlow, Shropshire this spring.

Billed as the ‘UK’s toughest’, the race will be held on Sunday 19 April and involves a 5km run over a mixture of road and trail, followed by a 33km bike loop that features around 500m of elevation, and a final 5km run loop that finishes in the grounds of Ludlow Castle.

Each run loop has a couple of steep sections of climbing, notably the Lactic Ladder, and takes athletes across Whitcliffe Common which promises stunning views of the whole town.
