A fast-paced and action filled final Olympic triathlon event hit our screens on Saturday 31 July (7:30am Tokyo time). Teams of four comprising of each country's top two men and women worked together along the flat and technical course in Tokyo's Odaiba Park. Check out our race gallery for your fill of the action.

After a phenomenal run where Yee powers away from the competition, he finally catches sight of the finish line.

Amd Yee does it bring it home for Team GB. Despite Vincent Luis catching him and overtaking him on the bike Yee stays with him and then blasts the run to take GB to gold.
Hot on Yee's heels, USA's Morgan Pearson brings home silver 14s later much to the delight of his team.
It's bronze for France and a deflated Vincent Luis. But what a fight from the Frenchman.

Team GB celebrate their well-deserved gold, Jonny Brownlee finally adding the missing medal to his Olympic collection, saying:
