Elite Tri Box – first look
With 30 years in the biz, Italian bike and tri firm Elite have attempted the impossible – a one-stop bag for transition.
Unfolding Inspector Gadget-like to reveal oodles of compartments, each with a designated tri function, Elite’s Tri Box intends to quash transition panics by having a place for everything you’ll need.
The large-capacity backpack box is designed to house all your race gear and allow various configurations depending on the roominess of each race’s transition zone.
The labelled T1 and T2 bags for bike and run shoes fold out and detach from the main box, plus there’s a wet gear bag, pockets for bottles and nutrition, and tri-specific additions such as the top rope elastic to hold your helmet. The whole thing then unzips and collapses down when not in use.
