Italian swim pioneers launch polarised version of acclaimed Kayenne goggle

Aqua Sphere have made waves with the best-selling Kaiman and its update, the Kaiman Exo, but can they replicate previous successes with the new polarised Kayenne?

Maximising on the huge popularity of its award-winning Kayenne swimming goggle frame technology, Aqua Sphere have launched a polarised lens version of the Kayenne, the Kayenne Lady and the Kayenne Small Fit.

The Kayenne is said to increase the field of vision for open-water and pool swimmers by creating a low-drag micro-frame that sits close to the face and offers 4-point expanded vision. This allows for up and down visibility, in addition to Aqua Sphere’s patented wide-angle 180° peripheral vision. The new polarised lenses are said to virtually eliminate glare for outdoor swimmers.

The Kayennes purport to provide swimmers with a completely comfortable Softeril fit, 100% UVA/UVB protection and superior transparency, with scratch and fog-resistant lenses.

Price: £31 from www.aquasphereswim.com. We'll be reviewing these in our issue 313's goggles grouptest, but don't forget to check out our recent round-up of the best pool goggles currently on the market.
