220 Triathlon has teamed up with Pro-Coaching Weekends (PCW) to put the perfect package together for triathletes – and you could be in with a chance of winning it.
The package includes a 12-week training plan devised by one of the UK’s leading triathlon coaches, an invitation for two to a triathlon training camp in the Brecon Beacons on 4-7 August and entry for two into the Standard Triathlon race at Bournemouth International Triathlon, including a shared room in the PCW House just minutes from the start line!
Introducing PCW, the company who creates weekends away for avid sports fans looking to improve in their chosen discipline. These weekends are not your average sporting break, they’re specifically designed for people looking to develop their abilities and improve performance – as well as having fun, of course.
On these weekends you will be joined by a professional coach who will help you improve the fundamentals of your sport – not only technique, but mentality, tactics, and nutrition as well.
PCW Tri Training Weekend in the Brecon Beacons
This is the perfect training weekend for triathletes looking to improve their form and performance, taking place at a magnificent stone barn in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons.
PCW has teamed up with one of the UK’s leading triathlon coaches, John Wood, to deliver this triathlon training experience. John has put together a schedule that’s designed to help you improve in every area associated with triathlon races – from swim technique to bike set-up, running strategy and nutrition.
Every athlete who joins us will get dedicated consultation with John, along with the group advice, and will leave the weekend with valuable advice on future training plans. The aim is to make sure your future training is enjoyable and has purpose, as well as offering advice for you to find incremental gains that will lead to better performances.
PCW House at Bournemouth International Triathlon
Surround yourself with fellow triathlon enthusiasts at the PCW House for competing in the Bournemouth International Triathlon on Sunday 11 September.
Bournemouth was one of the first triathlons to hit the South Coast. It’s been raced by thousands, including Olympians and professional triathletes, but is more so renowned as one of the most inclusive and enjoyable events on the calendar.
Start with an awesome sea swim – it’s the perfect time of year to be out in the English Channel and makes for a fast and enjoyable swim leg. The ride is renowned for being a quick route, taking you out to Ringwood and the edge of the New Forest, and back to the beach with one killer climb to finish. Finally, the run along the promenade invites you to give it your all.
This is a great event for both seasoned triathletes looking to challenge themselves against a top field and shoot for a personal best and also any triathlete newcomers.
How to enter
This package is a brilliant opportunity for anyone looking to take part in their first triathlon, or multisport event, or for anyone who has been off the race scene for a while and is keen to get back into it with support and confidence.
