We caught up with sports nutritionist Joel Enoch at this year’s Triathlon Show to discuss why it’s important to have a plan for your nutrition regime, how much carbohydrate to take on for Olympic distance, and what he thinks is the optimum rate for fuelling when racing.

Joel Enoch is an award-winning triathlon coach to multiple world and European champions, a performance lifestyle advisor to TriWorks Edinburgh (www.tri-works.co.uk) and is soon to launch a new project that will take the idea of why we do what we do into the wider triathlon community.
