Three new swim/run events for Guildford
A trio of aquathlons added to the All About Triathlons race schedule
A series of aquathlons have been added to the Surrey race calendar. The March event provides an exciting opportunity to swim in the 50 meter Sports Park pool, followed by a cross country run around the university grounds thanks to event sponsors Surrey Sports Park Limited.
For the June and July events, the National Trust have kindly provided permission for the first official swim events to take place along a section of the river Wey, a tranquil waterway running for 20 miles through the heart of Surrey. Participants will enjoy an open water swim in the river before running in Shalford Park. There will also be a fun children’s race.
17 March 2013 – Surrey Sports Park
16 June 2013 – River Wey, Shalford Park
28 July 2013 – River Wey, Shalford Park
