Good news for UK triathletes who like racing through country estates and stunning countryside (and who doesn’t?!) – registration is now open for the Peak District Triathlon being held at Chatsworth in Derbyshire on Sunday 28th June 2015.

The event includes both sprint (750m swim/20km bike/5km run) and standard (1.5km swim/40km bike/10km run) distance races, and starts in the river Derwent before taking athletes on past Chatsworth House and through the local countryside, finishing with a run in the expansive parkland of the Chatsworth Estate.

New for 2015 the cycle route is a single loop taking in some of the most beautiful scenes in the Peak District, and the run route has been amended to include an extra loop beyond the Hunting Tower for the standard distance athletes to feature more of Chatsworth’s landmarks.

Entry costs are £65/£62 (standard/sprint) for individual entries or £77/£72 (standard/sprint) for team relay entries, with the first wave starting at 7am. The Peak District Triathlon at Chatsworth also features a women-only wave. A maximum of 1,000 race places are available and entries close on 16th June or when sold out.
