Windsor Triathlon organisers Human Race are offering a limited number of places in this year’s sold-out event exclusively to 220 Triathlon readers, which will go on sale tomorrow (20 May) from 9am.
The historic triathlon – which uniquely takes place on closed roads in the centre of Windsor – is planned for Sunday 15 June 2014 and is a popular landmark on many triathletes’ calendars.
There will be sprint (750m swim, 30km bike and 5km run) and Olympic (1.5km swim, 42km bike and 10km run) distances on offer, however spaces are very limited so you will need to be quick to claim your spot.
Attracting a mixture of elite and amateur triathletes, the Windsor Triathlon is one of Britain’s oldest triathlons and attracts many competitors and spectators who return each year for the unique experience.
The triathlon is being televised on Channel 4, and will celebrate its 25th year in 2015, so if you don’t manage to get a spot in this year’s event be sure to keep your eyes peeled for some exciting quarter-century celebrations and promotions to be announced after this year’s event.
