Entries to the mega-popular 2015 Slateman Triathlon open at midday today! The 2014 event was hugely popular with places selling out before Christmas and hundreds of triathletes left disappointed due to the entry limit being reached.

Taking place on the weekend of 16th and 17th May, the Slateman is an iconic triathlon set in the heart of Snowdonia, infamous for its stunning open-water swim in Llyn Padarn, breathtaking cycle up the Llanberis pass and lung-busting run up the 'zig-zags' in the Dinorwig Slate Quarries.

The 2015 event will again host the Slateman Sprint (600 places) on the Saturday and the Slateman Full (1,500 places) on the Sunday, with a brand new 'Slateman Savage' category introduced for next year for those crazy few willing to tackle the entire Slateman weekend.

Online entries are available now on the Slateman Triathlon website from midday today.
