The organisers of this year's Alpe d'Huez Triathlon have said that their preferential rates will close at the end of this month, with prices then getting a smallish hike.
This year marks the 9th annual edition of the event, which will take place on 27-31 July, and includes short distance, long distance and children's races, as well as a duathlon.
Held in the stunning French Alps, last year's event saw 2,200 participants turn up, including 1,000 for the short distance race, with around 10,000 spectators cheering them on.
