The organisers of the hugely popular Slateman, Snowman and Sandman triathlons have launched a new race, called the Huntsman and taking place in Hampshire this October.
Sprint and Olympic distance races will be held on Sunday 12th October, starting with a dip in Hawley Lake followed by a hardcore road cycle around the Hampshire rural countryside and a trail run through the woodland surrounding the lake.
“The Huntsman has the makings of being one of the best triathlons in the UK," said event director Tim Lloyd. "The beauty of the lake has been recognised by a number of film directors and has been used in a wide range of films including James Bond epic, Die Another Day."
