Europe's top junior triathletes will be heading to the UK this weekend for the British Triathlon U20's Festival at Eton Dorney, which will culminate in an ETU Junior European Cup.
Top triathletes in attendance will include Sophie Coldwell, one of 36 British athletes vying for a place in the junior GB team competing in the ITU's World Championship Finals in Hyde Park, London next month.
Talking before the event, Sophie commented: “It’s going to be one of the most important races of the season at Eton Dorney this weekend. I have focused all of my training to try and secure my place on the Great Britain team in London and hope that everything will come together on race day."
In addition to the ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup, the event will also host the British Triathlon Inter Regional Championships, as well as the finale to the 2013 British Triathlon Youth and Junior Super Series.
