Review: Zone3 Aquaflo tri-suit

Zone3’s designers have updated the Aquaflo based on feedback from some of the UK’s top triathletes, and the result is a super-streamlined suit. It’s constructed from Teflon-coated Xtra Life Lycra to reduce drag and repel water, which means it’s one of the quickest-drying suits out there.

It also features an inner bra (apart from the extra small size) with a front zip to make it easy to get on and off. The Tri-lite pad feels great on the bike but we found it a little bulky on the run, so it’s worth trying the suit before you buy.

Zone3’s strategy for keeping you cool is its Air-Seam system: a plastic mesh seam that runs down the length of the spine to effectively improve ventilation. The suit now also includes two small pockets positioned just above the small of your back to reduce drag.
