Garmin Forerunner 15 running watch

Affordable GPS-enabled run watch promises five weeks of battery life and warns you if you’ve been idle too long

Garmin’s lowest-priced wrist-worn GPS run watch touches down to track your distance, pace, calories burnt and to beep encouragingly for every mile you complete.

After each run it summarises your data, telling you if you’ve beaten your personal records, and also connects to Garmin’s online community allowing you to post and share your stats.

With an impressive five weeks’ battery life promised, the FR15’s also a between-run lifestyle warden, counting steps and sounding an inactivity alert if you sit still for too long. Price: £139 from www.garmin.com.
