The oversized lenses and neon green and black styling won’t be to everyone’s taste but the Evil Eyes will certainly get you noticed. They come with dark lenses and light-enhancing orange ones, with both giving 100% UV protection (you can also add to your lens choice from the extensive Adidas range, including prescription options).
The supplied hard case is a solid bit of kit and the soft bag doubles up as a cleaning cloth. Once out on the road they performed brilliantly with fit and field of view spot on; on the mountain bike especially, they really came into their own.
The foam sweat guard across the brow is an inspired feature and, on a hot day’s ride with plenty of climbing, totally prevented sweat rivulets trickling down. The ventilation was also excellent, and even when stopping after a tough effort there was no fogging.
