Brownlee brothers launch Fitness Squad membership
The Brownlee brothers have expanded their fitness franchise to include a new 'squad' fitness membership. Here's what you need to know...
Decorated Olympic gold medallists Alistair and Jonny Brownlee run a fitness company named Brownee Fitness (BF), which offers athletes access to purchase in-depth training plans for triathlon, swim/bike/run as single disciplines, strength, or nutrition.
The company’s core aim is to “help anyone, of any standard, to achieve more” and is a combination of knowledge from the brothers’ illustrious careers, as well as insight from their own athletics and S&C coaches.
Adding to the Brownlees’ existing training plans, there are now two squads that athletes can join within the Brownlee Fitness Squad, depending on what distance you are training for. The Short Course Squad is designed for athletes who are aiming for a sprint or Olympic-distance triathlon and BF claims this is suitable for those of all levels from beginner to advanced.
The Long Course Squad is for those setting their sights on middle or full-distance races, and is designed only for intermediate and advanced athletes due to the demanding nature of longer distance training. BF advises beginner athletes to train for short course for at least six months before tackling long course training.
Each squad has two membership package options – gold or silver – both offering access to a rolling two week plan, app access, the Brownlee Fitness Workout Library, post-workout analysis, a route-builder and race season planner. The gold membership also gives athletes access to Zwift Squad workouts, Q&A webinars with the Brownlee brothers and their coaches, and a weekly Pilates class.
