Zoot Fuzion

The standout feature on the Fuzion is the fact that it’s made entirely from smooth skin Yamamoto neoprene, giving it a slight hydrodynamic edge over those that use uncoated rubber for some panels.

It’s a relatively lightweight number and scored highly on shoulder flexibility. However, the test suit’s cut seemed very long in the body, resulting in a less than snug fit across the chest area (or maybe the tester just needed more time in the gym!).

This provided a very clear reason why trying before you buy is so important when wetsuit shopping – according to the Zoot sizing chart it should have been a perfect fit.

The wrists were also very tight so getting it on and off over a heart rate monitor watch was a real struggle. The loud and proud yellow and grey graphics are certainly distinctive; whether that appeals to you is just a matter of personal choice.
