The Maldon Triathlon now open for entry

Entries are now open for the second Maldon Triathlon

Entries are now open for the second Maldon Triathlon to be held on 15 July 2012 in Maldon, Essex. This year the event sold out and we expect entries to fill fast.

The Maldon Triathlon is based around the beautiful Promenade Park and Hythe Quay over the Sprint and Olympic distances. The event consists of a 750m or 1.5km river swim alongside the Promenade, a 28km or 45km cycle on the quiet and scenic roads of the Dengie peninsula and finishes with a 5km or 10km run entirely based around Promenade Park.

With plenty of facilities for the whole family, activities throughout the day and countless cafes lining the route the event is sure to draw a huge crowd of spectators and provide a great atmosphere for all.

Entries are also open for the popular Fambridge Yacht Haven Half Ironman Triathlon on 29 July and the unique WatersideTri, taking place on 12 August which includes a Challenge Distance (800m Swim/43km Cycle/10km Run), Middle Distance (1.6km Swim/82km Cycle/20km Run) and Long Distance Classic (2.4km Swim/121km Cycle/30km Run).
