The ExtremeMan 226 Salou gets an amazing bike circuit

Iron-distance race on Spain's eastern coast set to offer a 180km bike loop

Spain is full of incredible spots for triathlon. But what about a triathlon optimising all the resources of this country? The ExtremeMan 226 Salou, coming 5 June 5, is attempting to do just this with a ‘phenomenal’ bike circuit that’s one single 180km lap.

The ExtremeMan 226 Salou will be tough. The bike circuit will consist of one single lap of 180km through the landscapes of Tarragona, the Priorat and the Baix Camp with more than 2,000 metres of total elevation.

The 3.8km swim takes place in the Balearic Sea, with another highlight being the run marathon that’ll take place on the shoreline of Salou.

Entries are open now at www.extreme-man.com for the iron-distance race. Accommodation and travel (Ryanair flies direct from all over Europe to Salou/Reus airport) suggestions are also available at the website.
