Dan Halksworth has become the latest high-profile British departure from pro outfit TeamTBB, saying the time is now right to "go down a different path".
Making the announcement on his personal blog, Halksworth pays credit to team founders Brett Sutton and Alex Bok, saying: "Without them I would not have got on to the top of the podium. My team mates have been amazing throughout and I will have many good friends for the future."
Other Brits to have left TeamTBB recently after the shock departure of Brett Sutton last autumn include Jodie Swallow and Eimear Mullan. Those still in place include Ritchie Nicholls, Stephen Bayliss and Bella Bayliss.
Halksworth adds that he has new opportunities with sponsors back in Jersey and abroad, saying: "2014 is going to be an amazing year for me."
