National Cross Duathlon Champs heading to Essex
Final event of 2013 series taking place this weekend
This year’s Essex Off Road Duathlon will take place on 27 October, marking the seventh and final event of the new-look 2013 Triathlon England National Championships.
The event will take place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and involve a 3.5km run followed by a 14km bike ride and finishing off with a 3km run – all of it tarmac free.
This will also be the first Cross Duathlon Championship with age group honours at stake, as well as the first ever English Club Duathlon title, according to the organisers.
