Half-price entry for first five entrants to new Lancaster race

My Tri Club has announced that entries for the new Lancaster Standard Triathlon are open for entry now at www.mytriclub.co.uk.

The first five people to soon up get half price entry, with extra discounts running until February 1st.

Lancaster Standard Triathlon

Location: Halton Training Camp near Lancaster

Swim (1500m) Clockwise Lap

A deep water start in the River Lune with an upstream and downstream section between the motorway bridge and the Aqueduct.

Bike (40km) 2 x 20km lap course

The course leaves Halton Training camp and heads north towards Halton and Kirkby Lonsdale. The loop undulates on good quality roads through The Kellets with fantastic views over Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland fells.

Run (10km) 2 x 5km lap course

The run course is clockwise loop along the banks of the River Lune. 80% of it is on good traffic free paths and cycle tracks. The only major climb being the 32 steps of the Lancaster Canal Aqueduct.
