British Triathlon U20 Festival set for Dorney in August

Europe’s top junior triathletes are invited to compete at the British Triathlon U20 Festival at Eton Dorney on Saturday 31 August 2013 ahead of the 2013 ITU Junior Triathlon World Championships in September.

The festival takes place at Eton Dorney and will host an ETU Junior Triathlon European Cup alongside an elite youth race. The event also includes the British Triathlon Inter Regional Championships where young triathletes from triathlonscotland, Welsh Triathlon and each of the Triathlon England regions compete not only for individual honours but also for the coveted team title. Eton Dorney will be a closed venue ensuring each race will be draft legal.

The ETU Junior Triathlon European Cup will be a sprint distance event, providing the perfect platform for Europe’s finest to put the finishing touches to their preparations for the ITU World Championships which will take place during the PruHealth World Triathlon Grand Final event in London from 11 to 15 September.

All European junior triathletes wishing to enter the event should contact their National Federation, whilst any British juniors should apply via British Triathlon.
