Triathlon England has announced the inaugural 2011 Triathlon England Age Group Championships (Standard Distance) and Triathlon England Club Championships (Sprint Distance).

Triathlon England has announced the inaugural 2011 Triathlon England Age Group Championships (Standard Distance) and Triathlon England Club Championships (Sprint Distance).

The inaugural Championships organised by Big Cow Events at Emberton Park, Milton Keynes will see Triathlon England’s individual members and clubs racing for the chance to be crowned “English Champions. “

Triathlon England has launched the two national championships to help raise the profile of the organisation and provide the same opportunity to be crowned National Champion as members of Welsh Triathlon and triathlonscotland currently receive.

Both Championships also deliver a broader and higher quality competition structure in England, ensuring there are more opportunities for athletes to take part in our modern and dynamic sport.

Event partners Big Cow Events were selected to deliver the events due to a proven track record of delivering high quality National Championships and were able to deliver based on the short timescales required to deliver the Championships in 2011. Big Cow Events have also confirmed there will be a £1000 prize for the Club Championship!

Entries are now open on the Big Cow website, so visit www.big-cow.com, as places are on a first come first served basis.
