Review: High5 Zero drink tabs

Well-devised formulation, pleasant taste and good value

As well as the five electrolyte minerals for hydration and cramp prevention, High5’s zero carbohydrate formulation also contains vitamin C, for immune support, plus green tea extract, which some studies reveal can help increase fat burning.

The tablets are scored, making it easy to split in half, and they dissolve fairly rapidly. High5 recommends one tablet per 750mls of water for a light taste and two for a stronger one.

In use, the pink grapefruit flavour was fairly authentic with minimal artificial aftertaste for both drink strengths, although we preferred the stronger option. The 35p cost per tab in this pack of 20 is impressive too, especially if you opt for the lighter half tab taste.
