Kask Mojito bike helmet review

Kask’s Mojito is one of the helmet choices of Team Sky, so as such comes with high expectations. It weighs in at just over 220g and nearly achieves that ‘no helmet’ feel that’s the mark of a great lid.

The retention system is superb and pivots to move up and down, which makes fitting the helmet even with a skullcap underneath very easy. The ratchet is also easy to adjust on the go, which is always useful.

The faux-leather chinstrap is very comfortable and adjusts without any irritating excess flapping about, with no cutting needed. There are a vast array of different colour schemes, and although colours aren’t a deal-breaker, it’s always nice to have options.

We had no issues with discomfort, even after hours of riding; the Mojito will be our first-choice road helmet for the foreseeable future.
