Prologo Scratch TS

Prologo supplies saddles to AG2R and the Saxobank pro cycling teams. With only a small range of seats to choose from, the company’s proud boast is that it supplies the consumer with exactly the same products as it does for its professional riders.

The Scratch TS is a lightweight (187g) road-oriented saddle with a stylish white finish and titanium rails. It’s slightly reminiscent of the classic Flite titanium models from way back when, and it won instant approval from several of our testers for this reason alone. It was very comfortable yet firm as a road saddle, but possibly a little hard on the nose for long-distance TTing.

At £180 it’s undeniably a bit on the expensive side, but it’s just as undeniably very nicely finished and presented. You just know you have a quality product in your hands the minute you take it out of the box.
