A triathlete’s guide to training and racing in Mallorca
Looking to train or race overseas? Mallorca is perfect for triathletes. In this 24-page guide we're going to give you all the inspiration and practical info you could need to make your dream trip a reality
Sun, sand, gorgeous seas and quiet roads… we don’t get much of that here on British shores, but you’ll find it all in abundance on the seemingly perfectly-formed Balearic island of Mallorca.
Despite only being 100km wide and 75km long, the Spanish island packs a lot in, especially for triathletes.
Head to the north-west and you’ll find the Tramuntana Mountains, with hours of cycling routes and epic climbs, plus lots of technical trail running. It’s here that you’ll also find the infamous Sa Calobra. The area can be accessed from northern resorts such as Pollenca and Alcudia, or western towns like Palma, Peguera or Calvia.
And those last few towns would also be a great base for exploring the spectacular roads that follow the west coast, dipping in and out of picture-perfect villages along the way.
The eastern and southern parts of the island also have much to offer, with unspoilt nature, classic Mallorcan culture and fantastic coastline.
In our Triathlete’s Guide to Mallorca, we’ll give you a glimpse of what you can experience on a typical trip, with inspiration for where to train and race, plus suggestions of where’s good if you have non-athletes travelling with you.
And we’ll even give you the practical advice you need to make your trip a reality. Download your free guide here or via the button below.
