Maldon Triathlon open for entry

Sprint and Olympic races on offer at Essex race

Entries are now open for the third annual Maldon Triathlon to be held on 21 July 2013 in Maldon, Essex.

The event takes place over the Sprint and Olympic distances and is based around the beautiful Promenade Park and Hythe Quay.

The 2013 event will see athletes take on a 750m/1.5km river swim alongside the Promenade, a 28k/45km cycle on the quiet and scenic roads of the Dengie peninsula and a 5km/10km run based entirely around Promenade Park.

With plenty of facilities for the whole family, activities throughout the day and countless cafés lining the route the event draws a huge crowd of spectators and is ideal for both beginners and seasoned age groupers. The event has sold out for the past two years and organisers expect entries to fill fast.
