London Triathlon highlights now up
Organisers follow up C4 show with YouTube highlights
The organisers of the 2013 Virgin Active London Triathlon have released video highlights of the event, which took place on 27th-28th July, showing celebrities such as Spice Girl Mel C in action.
With 13,000 participants this year, the event is well-recognised as the world’s largest triathlon event, and saw an array of Olympians, elites, amateurs, celebrities and charity fundraisers competing over a range of distances from super sprint to Olympic distance plus.
Full television highlights were shown by UK broadcaster Channel 4 last Sunday (available on 4oD here), but here is a taster of the action:
Triathletes interested in entering for 2014 are being encouraged by the organisers to register at www.thelondontriathlon.com to gain access to an exclusive 48-hour entry window before the event goes on sale to the general public later this year.
