Hollie Avil retires from triathlon

Hollie Avil has annouced her retirement from triathlon today in an article in the Telegraph.

She reveals, in a very candid interview, how suffering from an eating disorder lead to depression, and the recent stress fractures she has in both shins have been factors contributing to her decision.

Hollie won the World Junior Championships in 2007 and the World U23 Championships in 2009, as well as finishing third in her first World Cup race in Ishgaki, 2008.

Best wishes to Hollie from everyone at 220
