Clarke ninth in Mooloolaba

GB's Will Clarke hits top-10 as France dominates upfront

The biggest Olympic-distance race of the year to date, the Mooloolaba World Cup, has begun in Australia. France’s Laurent Vidal followed up victory recent at the Geelong Sprint with his maiden ITU World Cup victory.



Aussie Brad Kahlfeldt came in second with Vidal’s fellow countryman, David Hauss completing the podium. Britain’s Will Clarke, the favourite for that third Olympic slot, finished ninth.
