Chilly Duathlon series this weekend

The first race of this year's Chilly Duathlon series kicks off on Sunday

The first race of this year’s Chilly Duathlon series kicks off on Sunday and with the Big Adventure Store (www.thebigadventurestore.co.uk) on board for the second year running there’s another great prize up for grabs for 2010.

Fiona Davies took the top prize of the Argon 18 E-80 frameset last year after she won the female Vet 50 category and the draw. This year’s series prize is a Garmin Edge 705 bundle including heart rate and cadence monitors and City Navigator Europe mapping.

The series races take place on February 28th, August 15th and November 21st and the best two results score. The 2-mile/10-mile/2-mile Chilly Duathlon is fast becoming one of the most popular duathlons in the South with over 500 people racing in November 2009.

The February event also hosts the South West Children’s Duathlon Championships, with draft-legal racing for Tri Stars, Youths and Juniors. The adult races are non-drafting. Race details and entry information are available at the all-new DB Max website (www.dbmax.co.uk).

There’s still time to grab a slot for the first race of the series and join Fiona Davies on her brand new TT bike at the famous Castle Combe race circuit.
