Boris gets into tri mood to promote the Dextro Energy Triathlon World Championships Series due to take place in the capital on 15-16 August.
London Mayor Boris Johnson got into triathlon mood this month when he met British triathlete Rachel Joyce at City Hall to promote the Dextro Energy Triathlon World Championships Series due to take place in the capital city on 15-16 August.
Johnson (pictured) “warmed-up” for the event with Joyce and athletes from modern pentathlon and basketball who also have events in the capital on the same weekend.
Meanwhile, the event’s organisers have decided to add an Olympic-distance event to the mass participation event, taking place on the Olympic venue on Sunday 16.
The additional Olympic distance makes the whole atmosphere of competing on the Olympic venue, a money can’t buy experience. Information and entry details are available on www.triathlon-wcs-london.org
