Garmin Edge 1040 Solar
$749.99$581 – Save 23%
The Garmin Edge 1040 Solar was one of the first super-sized bike computers when it launched in 2022.
When Rob Slade reviewed it for 220 Triathlon in 2022, he praised its “near unrivalled functionality”. Although it’s no longer Garmin’s top-spec model, with 23% this looks like a great deal.
If you don’t want solar charging, you can save a third on the standard Garmin Edge 1040 this Black Friday.

Garmin Edge 840 Solar
$549.99$399.99 – Save 27%
The touchscreen Edge 840 Solar is close to the top of Garmin bike computer range. Equipped with multi-band GNSS for navigational accuracy and solar charging for extended battery life while offering sophisticated training analysis, it’s a big investment.
But with 27% off for Black Friday, you can upgrade for less.

Garmin Edge 540 Solar
$399.99$249.99 – Save 38%
The Garmin Edge 540 was released alongside the pricier Edge 840 (above) in 2023. To all intents and purposes, it’s the same device minus the touchscreen. This can be nice to have but it’s far from essential.
In the Black Friday sales, the usually more expensive solar-charging version is the same price as the non-solar. $249.99 is really low price for such tech, so don’t hang about.

Polar H10
$104.95$89.21 – Save 15%
It’s old, but the Polar H10 is gold. Despite having been released in 2017, the H10 remains one of the best heart-rate monitors for accuracy, reliability and battery life.
Plus, it’s available in two straps sizes and five colours, which is unusual for a HR strap.
A discount of 15% is decent deal on this quality device.

Oura Ring 4
$499.99$349 – Save 30%
Sleeping with a large smartwatch on your wrist can feel uncomfortable, but if you take it off at night you’ll lose out on sleep and HRV data.
A smart ring like this Oura Ring 4 feels much less instrusive to some people and records much of the same data as a multisport watch, at night and during the day.
In this Black Friday deal, you can save nearly a third on the Oura.

Speedo Swim Cap

Wahoo Elemnt Bolt 2
$279.99$237.46 Save 15%
Although Wahoo has recently released the third generation of the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, the latest version isn’t a dramatic step forward, according to our reviewer Rob Slade. So if you want still very competent performance at an even lower price, this discounted second generation Elemnt Bolt is worth considering. As a straightforward training and racing tool, it’s hard to beat.
