Extra spots released for sold out Dorney Lake event

After entries for the 10km ‘swimmers marathon’ at the 2012 Speedo Eton Swim sold out in record time race organisers Human Race have made an extra 100 places available to ensure no one is left disappointed before the big day.

The clean, clear water of Dorney Lake, Eton, is the ideal venue to take on an open-water swim whether competitors are accustomed to open-water swimming or a complete newbie. Alongside the 10k event there will be a range of distances on offer including 750 metres, a 1500 metre dip or a 3km swim.

The final 100 places are likely to be snapped up fast as will the limited number of entries for the first race in the series, the Speedo Spring Swim on 6th Sunday. For more information on the Eton and Spring Swim visit www.openwaterswimseries.co.uk
