Huub Triathlon women’s tri-suit review

High expectations met with plenty of attention to detail and oodles of quality

Taking top honours in our recent men’s tri-suit grouptest with their DS Long-Course suit designed alongside Dave Scott, Huub had high standards to meet with their women’s triathlon suit.

>>> Women’s tri-suits buyer’s guide

Luckily they didn’t disappoint, as this is a suit that has been carefully designed with plenty of attention to detail and a high-quality feel. The fit of this one was terrific and the stretchy integral shelf bra with no annoying zip was a clever touch.

Ventilation is taken care of by mesh panels around the arms, centre back and top of the hips, while the chammy provided enough protection on the bike without bothering us on the run.

The two side underarm gel pockets are a touch of genius, both easily accessible yet avoid you having stuff bouncing around on your back.

Our only request would be for grippier legs as they did curl up a little on the bike, but that was a minor gripe on an otherwise excellent piece of kit.

Verdict: Packed with features and individual thinking, 92%
