Activbod-er Essentials – first look
Natural ingredients and cooling finishes for the post-workout look
We hardcore athletes aren’t vain (at least we pretend not to be), and for those of us happy enough just to protect our skin while roasting in the sun or half-freezing in the cold, an indulgent body care regimen isn’t a top priority.
That’s what new local company Activbod, helmed by triathlete and motivational speaker Lara Morgan, want to change by offering skin care products for the active person. After the sweat fest that is virtually every gruelling training sesh, hit the showers with these ‘Activbod-er Essentials’ and you’ll cool down, literally.
The range include a travel-friendly Feel Great Shower Concentrate that promises to ‘deliver double the washes’, plus a Cooling Finish Lotion and Game Changer Face Scrub that both contain menthol for a soothing icy sensation post-shower.
All three contain natural ingredients designed to repair, energise and moisturise your skin after a workout, though the jury’s still out on whether these products really will change the grooming game for athletes.
