Maru Training Fins

There’s little triathletes detest more than kicking drills in the swimming pool; legs that are heavy from cycling or tired from running are certainly not automatically conditioned for front-crawl kick. However, training fins like these ones from Maru can come to the rescue by helping to develop your ankle flexibility and build strength in the right muscle groups, thus improving your kick.

These particular ones are made from 100% silicone, which makes them very supple and comfortable to wear. They come in seven sizes, from a UK size 1 up to 11, and the asymmetric colourway is a nice touch. The blades are long enough to provide you with some extra propulsion without being so big that your kick rate is dramatically slowed down. Definitely worth a try.
