Zoggs Boomerang Back Elite Ultex

The Boomerang, which is part of Zoggs’ performance swimwear range, is a simple, but stylish-looking suit.

Like the Zoggs Sonic Back it’s fully lined through the front of the suit, so feels soft against the skin and is comfortable to wear.

And it’s made from Dow XLA technology, which means it has both a high resistance to chlorine and a good amount of stretch within the material, adding to the comfort factor.

But this isn’t a suit for those swimmers who like their suits to give them a high degree of support around the bust, chest and shoulders. It has thin straps and is cut away far more skimpily around the bust than other suits.

When swimming in open water, particularly when choppy, this can lead to the swimmer feeling like water is creeping into the upper part of the suit, and there’s a distinct lack of support.

And for £33.99 it’s also pricey for a swimsuit, especially one with such poor support.
