Nike Zoom Victory Plus

The Zoom Victory Plus from run shoe giants Nike incorporates two new technologies: lightweight Lunar Foam responsive cushioning and Flywire, which is essentially threads of strong cabling in the upper shoe that ‘locks’ the foot in place without the need for heavy overlays. The resulting light weight provides a smooth ride and is perfect for the neutral runner.

The cushioning is soft and the midsole has a decent depth to it. A slightly firmer feel might make the shoe more responsive but fundamentally it feels good.

Meanwhile, the Flywire technology makes it ideal for faster running. Overall, this is a good training shoe for lighter runners, or for racing and fast training.
