Nike Lunarglide+2

As part of the celebrated Lunar range, the Lunarglide bridges the gap brilliantly between lightweight racer and high miler. This is down to its Lunarlite (30% lighter than standard Phylon) cushioning material and its Dynamic Support system.

This system sits in the shoe’s midsole and features more soft foam on the lateral side for cushioning on impact, and more firm foam on the medial side for support. These shoes certainly inspire confidence with their solid, quality feel, and although this results in a slightly dull road feel, the sensation is one of protection.

Nike has also lead the way with the Lunarglide’s seamless, laminated upper construction, while the highly effective Flywire technology (thin Nylon fibres on the upper to hold the foot in place) makes for a great connection with the foot. The Rio styling of this model is on the conservative side, but with a few colour pop details it becomes a shoe worth coveting.
