New Balance 1225

Straight out of the box you know that these are a stable, robust shoe that are designed for high mileage. When you put them on, what you’ve got is a solid but not restrictive feel that does a great job of soaking up the miles.

Designed for runners who require moderate stability, there’s plenty of responsiveness to enjoy. You’ll certainly feel the forefoot cushioning as well as the rearfoot support, while being from those versatile devils New Balance, fit is never an issue as the 1225s also come in a variety of widths.

We particularly enjoyed using their lacing system, which featured the Nlock, an integrated lacing and webbing system that provides optimal fit and support for the midfoot, and SureLace, a lacing gadget that ensures the shoes maintain a good fit and don’t become undone.
