Brooks T7 Racer

Running purists looking for a no-compromise race shoe and living in the belief that time lost in transition can be made up by all-out speed… your search is over.

The T7, as donned by Chrissie Wellington, is lightning fast. This is a real racing thoroughbred with ‘look at me’ styling, a snappy response and a solid fit. The asymmetric lce pattern and narrow last provide excellent security and, depending on the neatness of your gait and weight, will help you eat up the miles.

The compromises that you’d be making by choosing the T7 over something tri-specific shouldn’t be ignored, though. The heavy seams are a source of minor discomfort when running sock-free and the tongue is easy to lost of you don them in a hurry. Also, if you’re not a natural whippet, be warned that this shoe offers only minimal stability.
