Brooks Ghost 3

Brooks Ghost 3

Brooks have really upped their game in recent seasons and are now producing consistent, responsive and light shoes.

The Ghost 3 is exactly that – a comfortable shoe from the second you put it on and one that goes about its business in an unobtrusive way. Some runners may find it too narrow or require more support from a shoe but, for most, the fit will be snug with the cushioning soft and the support more than adequate.

Brooks have been particularly working on their MoGo cushioning systems and their endeavours are bearing fruit (and, with the world’s first biodegradable midsole, boosting eco credentials). This shoe simply gets on with the job in hand – forefoot cushioning is good, there’s a good fit around the heel and it’s far from heavy. Only severe pronators should consider something else.
