Adidas Supernova Glide 2

The company blurb from Adidas tells us that these shoes are neutral, but such is the support on offer, mild pronators would surely feel at home in these.

They feel heavier than others on test as the shoe is clumpy in feel, but that’s not at the expense of performance. The Supernova Glide 2 are perfectly at home clocking up winter training miles on the road thanks to the supportive cushioning. You might not reach for them if you’re looking to clock up a 5km personal best, but you’d be happy with them on a normal jaunt around town.

The Formotion technology is an interesting development; it’s not outwardly apparent but the shoe is constantly adjusting to your foot strike, reducing the potential for injury. Once again, women specific shoes, offering a closer fit, are available from the German brand.
